Gloves

Post by basil 69 »

Due to my slip on ice 2 weeks ago I'm in need of another pair of gloves. What is everyone wearing at the moment, any advice would help in my decision on what to buy. Thanks in advance

I have been wearing Oxford Navigator gloves. Find them to be a good fit, true to size, waterproof and quite warm. I have heated grips on the scooter so my hands have been warm enough with these gloves on, but hands get a tad chilly in sub zero temps without the heated grips on while wearing them.

I've got some £20 Aldi ones but will probably get something more substantial for next winter. They are leather but a bit thin. OK with the heated grips but possible limited protection if I came off.

Got a pair of those claw gloves with 2 fingers £19 from M&P
they do a more expensive pair likely to warm for summer use
but good in winter.

I've got some Goretex Alpinestars. Comfortable and well-armoured.
