I normally look forward to launching the scooter at easter however it's so damn cold the scoot ain't moving nowhere - so looks like I'll wait until may before it makes an appearance

Could be a heat-wave at Easter.

I am jumping on the ferry from the Isle of Man to Heysham and riding up to Scotland at Easter. Hope the weather is better than it is at the moment or it will be interesting lol

Some riders(about, four) appeared in Southport last Wednesday, they had jeans and walking shoes on so, were probably locals. It seems that they turn up on Cruisers, much like in the film Wild Hogs. Those of us that ride all year round and wear proper clothing just smile and say looks like the "riding season" is here again.

I always think that its a sure sign that Spring has arrived when sports bikers are spotted on the roads after their winter hibernation....

The odd thing is that we were staying on the south coast a couple of weeks ago, just before when the beast from the east came. It was bone chillingly cold but there were plenty of bikers around, sports bikes etc, even some HD riding weekend warrior types. I don't remember seeing any scooterists. Odd I know.
