My Vespa is a Moped
I went to work on the GTS today. A bitch in the office called it a moped. She can wash her own mug now, I'm done with her lol

Re: My Vespa is a Moped
Ah! My favourite subject! I've had a Burgman 400 called a moped.
In my opinion there are two reasons for the 'moped' thing. Firstly ignorance. People just don't know what a moped is and are unaware of the legal definition. 50cc/30 mph. So they call any scooter a moped because it has an open step-through frame and thus fits with their image of what a moped should be. The other one really p's me off. People who call a scooter a moped because it isn't a 150 mph race-rep. Been watching too much World Superbikes on the telly, and 'it's only a scooter.' Almost invariably this sort of people have never owned a bike themselves. Either that or they 'used to.'

Re: My Vespa is a Moped
A moped surely should have pedals to propel it? For a moped my Burgman seems to go faster than most of the cars driven by these wankers drive.
Re: My Vespa is a Moped
By the same token I look at their £50/60K car & think/say it's just a tin box.

I had a customer come round in a yellow Ferrari. Wasn't too impressed when I commented that it was the same colour as my skip.
