Honda xadv passenger comfort views
Hi everyone ,is there anyone on here who has or have had an xadv who can give there views or either there other halfs impression of the pillion comfort or views made by any of there passengers . Also any opinions on how you feel it handles with pillions . The reason for asking as it looks probable that we may well get one soon .My Mrs has asked me to ask on here .

Hi Ferret, i have not had anybody on the pillion seat yet so cannot make a first hand comment, a guy on the NC forum says his better 1/2 thinks it's good. No idea if he/she is big small or in the middle.

I have also read about a 'mucky back end ' problem , and agree with Meldrew. Whatever any pillion rider of the ADV comments on Ferret a test ride with the missus is the only way you can be sure your putting your dosh in the right machine, as what is comfy for one person might not be comfy for another.

Re: Honda xadv passenger comfort views
Cheers chaps ,the mucky rear end issues are easily solved & totally agree that everyone's pillions and impressions are different.Im going to try and get a longer term demo ride so I can take she who must be obeyed out for a longer run as I just don't see a 1 hour ride being enough . I took her out on a ktm 1090 with its comfort seats ,she loved it but it's really too tall and more than I really need akawasaki versys 650 would be more than enough but the Honda xadv just feels so nicely finished and screwed together hhhmmm just too much choice lol .

Think a few owners would disagree.

Ferret
get an insurance quote for the X-ADV I just nearly fainted when I tried to add it in a multi bike policy.
Didnt bother cheaper as separate policies but still not cheap compared to other scoots
and yes arse does get dirty there are options (see adv rider) but I prefer as made and live with it.
other issue oxford hard core chains struggle to fit through spokes

Re: Honda xadv passenger comfort views
I would love to see this easy fix please, i bought a second winter scoot because of it. I have tried also sorts of things to fix it and not got any where near what i consider to be a fix yet.
