I just based that on the list price of a Burgervan 400 at £6299 so figured BMW would charge more, as they do. I wonder if the indicators will work?

I keep reading of endless problems due to poor design on BMW bikes. The good old days of BMW's being bulletproof are long gone.

They look to be turning out top quality stuff. Anyone in any country can make high quality stuff given the right materials and training.
I quite agree with that. However, the point remains. Premium European and Japanese brands are expensive for two reasons - high quality and high wages. Moving production to a low-wage economy should bring a reduction in price.

***Moving production to a low-wage economy should bring a reduction in price****

All you will get from them if you ask why it does not mean a lower price in the European shops is...
If they where not made where they are the prices would be even higher,,,,my answer to that would be..
Then you wouldn't bloody sell any then would you! They are just plain greedy.

In dealers next month they say. Fully specked will be about 7k. 3 years warranty. Heated seats. Heated grips. Full connectivity with sat nav.
Got to be worth a look.
