New Cruisym 300, bought today
The Cruisym 300 I ordered, was ready for collection today, went to pick it up about 3pm. Never had a chance to try one before buying ,so, a bit apprehensive. First impression, nice riding position, sat upright, good vision just over the screen( screen has two positions and I asked it be put at high). Smooth take off, front brake a bit grabby. Engine sounds nice and sweet, mirrors a bit awkward to get right, tickover a bit high at nearly 2thousand revs but probably set like that till run in. 16 mile ride home and good responsive engine which I think will improve if broken in correctly. First job at home ,remove under seat light bulb, Tool kit is, a double ended box spanner and a double ended screw driver.Riders handbook shows some jobs like, how to replace spark plug but, does not tell you where the spark plug is, or how to get at it. I think it will grow on me and will go out for a run to morrow.

Fingers crossed that you will like it as much as you do the SilverWing, I was thinking of getting one a few months back as a replacement for my 'Wing, but settled on a 'project' instead, garage full of tools/toys are getting used again, 'project' now up & running (not quite sewing machine ... yet) after a 14 year layoff.
Have wheels, will travel

They look very nice.
I know the 171cc engine they do is amazing so a 110 odd CC more should be brilliant.
Happy new scoot. Looking forward to thoughts and impressions etc.
Best Mark.

Re: New Cruisym 300, bought today
Had a seventy four mile run out on country lanes, dual carriageway and through some villages. Remembering that all things need running in, as well as the engine, tyres and brakes etc, as usual kept to speed limits and below fifty MPH. Very impressed, engine was responsive and sounded sweeter as I progressed. Much like the Silverwing in comfort although screen is standard and not the Givi- airflow I am used to. I think I made a good choice. One thing came to light trying to fill the fuel tank took ages I've heard of slow fillers but it was like filling with a milk bottle. Got a few Bikers around me when I stopped in Southport I just took my jacket off and put that and my helmet under the seat and went for my cup of tea.
