So...
'Dobbin' will be 3 in November... Time for 1st MoT...
'15 Plate, from New, Purchased at 21st Moto in Swanley, Paid £3200
20k miles now - Gonna be 24k come November time...
600 mile dealer service then Home / Self Serviced - Oil at every 2500 miles / Air Filter / Belt etc. to book schedule...
No Troubles... No Issues...
But...
New '17 Updated, LED Lights / Key Card Ignition model are £3350
Nice to go new again - then keep for another 3 years?...
Cost of ownership is half balanced against cheap transport, and versus a train ticket at £2000 a year! - So almost disposable every 3 years!
What would be an acceptable PX Price / Cost to Change?
How far down would would you tolerate your pants being pulled down?
My Scoot + Half Price? or is that a little overoptimistic / wishful thinking on my part?
Stick or Twist?
Would welcome your thoughts...

Re: 3 Year Itch... SH125 - PX?
Depends if you think its going to start costing..??? My 3rd sh125,was heading to 3 years old[18300 miles up]so p/x for my 4th sh125,but I kept seeing a red one near by,so that was it.
Have a look at dobies web-site,they have 4 in stock ,which are new but have been sitting there so they are selling them off cheaper.

Re: 3 Year Itch... SH125 - PX?
21st Moto sadly offer poor PX in my book which is why they've never had my money in a purchase but their service department I can't fault.
Rock around a few dealerships remember 125cc prices have shot up so PX prices have risen accordingly but private sales are strong bit not necessarily selling.
I'm with you on loving a new bike but would another 12 months use/ wear tear going to lose you much more (and I think post brexit nothing will initially be cheaper)

Will be November time when the 3ys is up and the 0% finance paid...
Realisticaly ill keep what i've got for a year or 2...
Mode is single shock, air cooled and a bit budget for what i want / need..
Plus if you add the cost of the top box it aint a million miles away in £...
I tend to base the cost v's a near £2k train ticket, that way i can justify a bit more, and to the wife

I would.Lots of life left in it yet. I think you would be disappointed in a mode after owning the SH for 3 years, its a bit smaller and only has one budget shock.XMax400Paul wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 12:23 pm Will be November time when the 3ys is up and the 0% finance paid...

Honda 125 mode is w/c same as the sh 125,bit less power but more [at lot less revs] torque .XMax400Paul wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02, 2018 12:23 pm Will be November time when the 3ys is up and the 0% finance paid...
