£7k?????? Makes a Tmax seem a bargain!!! Plus an extra £500 for the 'Connectivity' Dash. I love her comment on the SatNav part of the latter - 'apart from a couple of wrong turns, it works pretty well'. Since the whole point of a SatNav is to direct you, one wonders exactly what else it would have to do badly to be described as rubbish!!

Wonder if one of the wrong turns takes you down a railway line, a river, or over a cliff.

No, that's only on the forthcoming 'Adventure' version !Dave Weller wrote:Wonder if one of the wrong turns takes you down a railway line, a river, or over a cliff.

Re: BMW 400X
The opposition (eg Burger, Xmax) is around £6k so once the "BMW premium" is added, I guess £7k is about right.
Ugly beast, though.
If I were going beserk and spending loads of dosh on a scooter, I'd rather head towards the AK550 than this. At least you can look at it without squinting.

I would imagine they won't sell many, I can't say I've ever seen a BMW scooter on the road tbh.

Re: BMW 400X
The occasional C600/650 can be seen in central London. Quite unremarkable looking in the flesh, so easy to miss. What I do see though, albeit rarely, are BWC C1. You can't miss them...smeghead wrote:I would imagine they won't sell many, I can't say I've ever seen a BMW scooter on the road tbh.

You're right - I hadn't noticed quite how awful the front end is. This MCN story shows the full horror of it...Jaz wrote:That is one of the ugliest PTWs I have ever clapped eyes on.
