I've been trying to help Jimo out with posting images to this forum from his iPad. I find using Postimages easy from my android tablet. I don't do iPads.
Is there anyone using an iPad to post images to this forum and if so could you explain , in non technical words, how you manage this.
Do you use a different app ?
Thanks.

I have an iPad and use an image hosting site like www.servimg.com - there are many other hosting sites to choose from

Re: Posting pictures using an iPad
Thanks Symcity. Is there anything jimo needs to be aware of as he has had trouble trying to post to this forum using his iPad ?
I suggested Postimages to him but he struggled with this app. Don't know if he needs an iPad specific app.

Re: Posting pictures using an iPad
I don’t use an app. Open up another window on the iPad. Go to postimages.org > choose images > photo library > all photo's > click on the picture (or pictures) you want > click 'done' > wait for picture to upload and then click on the blue icon at the far right of the 'Hotlink for forums' row. It will then say 'copied'. Paste that link into your forum post. Job done.

Thank you Steve_D. I've explained , in not such a graphic way, to jimo how to use Postimages. He gets to the script part and then nothing happens. I've explained that he will not see the images until he selects "Submit" on the forum. I will attempt to PM this post.

He can also see them by using the 'preview' button before actually submitting the post.

Re: Posting pictures using an iPad
mottza I have made jimo aware of this thread and he is grateful for everyone's help. He only lives 4 miles from the Green Man and I've already suggested that if he's still struggling he brings his iPad along. He also mentioned he might show up on his Sunbeam.
