The Citystar looks quite a good contender in the 125 market (and the 200 version would be good, but I don't think its sold in the UK). But the Forza 125 is probably the better scoot, but costs rather more I think.

The 200 with ABS is £4099 but there wasn't a demonstrator to be had when I was interested. I would have saved a lot over the Xmax 300 but needed to know if the performance was good enough for my journey. Without being able to ride one I passed on buying it. I know the Xmax is better overall but a grand is a grand....

Some of the small ones were, e.g. the V-Clic is the same as something badged as a Sinnis. Not that that's a bad thing IMO - the Chinese made stuff can't be any worse made than the Euro-built Pugshite I've worked on in the past.
Ehup Jaz!

It was the Peugeot Sum-up that was a badge-engineered Qingqi, also sold (cheaper) as the Sinnis Matrix.

We just sold Mrs Capitano's little French-made '05 Peugeot Ludix, that we got for free in 2011 after it sat outside my neighbour's house for the best part of 5 years. It's given 7 years of sterling service, never needed anything except consumables, and we got nearly £800 for it on ebay.

Speaking to the guys at On-the-wheel (Sinnis HQ, not far from my house) and they really, as in REALLY rate the Peugeot Django 125s and 150s. I asked about used values. They said they can't speak from so much of a factual basis because customers tend to buy them and keep them! They see them back for regular servicing but very few get traded in.

So, Peugeot obviously do something right now and again. 8-)
