The bike has nominal milage and has some useful extras - Kwang Yang Motor Company - Kymco certainly manufacture a decent scooter

What's the limit for learners on Malta? I can't remember it being an issue in the 60s.

Have the scooter by all means. Kymco are a good brand. But ditch the helmets - you don't know their history, and they could have done their job of protecting their users from head injuries without any visible damage. Nothing more important than your head after all.
