I sold my pan euro to a breaker which is probably where a silverwing with mega miles would go .

From my experience of the Silverwing it will last forever, if you are tender with it, the oil stays very clean even at the end of the service intervals. Build quality is good.
A late model high mileage looked after one at a low price would be good, you get the improved software updates (A7+) for improved running and mpg.
You can tell the later ones from pictures, they don't have painted dash lids.

Hi Dave how do you get these Silverwing updates please, intrigued.

Or do you need to buy a chip etc.

Thanks Mark.

PS my oil is changed every 3.5K-4K ( sound OK ?) always looks good, but it does use some in that time maybe 200ml, does that sound OK too please. Thanks again.

Honda did the upgrades for the 2007 models, not sure if earlier ones can be improved, using small amounts of oil is normal.

They added exhaust O2 sensor to exhaust making injection better more efficient.
