Ex Police MP3

It appears Met Police MP3s are starting to filter onto the market (don't know any other force that runs them?)

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3293663572

but if a dealer is knocking them out at under 2K (If profit margins are similar to when I traded) I'd expect auction house cost of £600/£1K Inc fees.

Met had over 40 of these & there service routine was spot on,no second hand parts fitted

Think Blackbush? was the biggest emergency service vehicle fleet seller though some used to turn up in the Counties.

£1k worth a punt - but £2k risky as they have done a lot of leg - given the complexity of these MP3's and Piaggio's build quality.

They seem to be using Xmax's now. 300s, I think (from looking at the exhausts - def not 400, as you can spot the exhaust on them from a mile away).

45000 miles the one on the link had. Pretty good going for a Piaggio working hard. Just think there could be some expensive bills hiding away in these especially in the tilt mechanism.

It's a few miles from me. They're down a back alley in an out-of-the-way industrial estate. I'm sure i saw an ad like this a couple of months back. I imagine there'd be a fair few holes in the plastic where they removed the police gear. MOT tomorrow. I might celebrate a pass by going over for a nosey. :)

The MET ones I've see riding around the West End are all electric scooters now, couldn't tell you make/model though
