Zapp i300

Post by StephenC »

Apparently a UK start-up plans to reveal their 300cc equivalent electric scooter very soon. Sounds like a lot of bull**** but could be worth watching.

Looks like Piaggio are aiming for the BMW approach - £5622 for a 50cc equivalent with a 60 mile range?

Makes me think of sheep. What is it their coats are called? Oh yes, FLEECE.

Sod the bullshit, all I want to know with any electric vehicle is
1) What's the real range
2) How fast
3) How much
Anything else is irrelevant.

Not really. Depreciation is always appalling so I don't bother thinking about it!

A well looked after ICE bike holds it's value quite well. all things considered.

But what's the state of play with battery technology? A while back, batteries were said to last only a given number of charging cycles (and the stated numbers were possibly optimistic). Since the batteries cost a fortune, if they have a limited life, this will seriously affect S/H values! Or has the technology improved so this isn't an issue?
