Well folks - the elements up here in bonnie auld Scotland are starting to close in - I gave the sh300i a guid auld wash n wax and put her to bed for the foreseeable future - I’ll waken her up around easter time if the weather permits - in fact mibeez the next time she will surface is in Powys Wales for the ugly muppets meet in May 2019 ;)

Not sure I could put the solo away for winter,think I'd get withdrawal symptoms

we can get some nice cold days here in Manchester over winter, so the bikes remain in service. Just bought this for short winter trips-

Daytime temps in the NE still pretty good (nights getting cold though!) - and I haven't even put the handlebar muffs on yet! They are normally on at the end of September. Roads still dry so pretty ideal conditions to ride at the moment.

Still in our summer gear down south, but will change by end of the month probaly? It's more about leaves on the road than anything else! Does help being retired as you can pick the time to go out for a ride (10.30 - 15.00) after the rush and back before the school runs, mind half term next week, still got 300 miles to do before 1st oil change!

Its more that I can't be bothered to spend 45 mins washing the dirt or salt off for a hours ride. It gets used less over the winter.
