Tmax seat strut spring kit at TBSS

My seat struts that I replaced two years ago started to die AGAIN, so I went to TBSS to get their upgraded struts...and found THIS:

I ordered it, got it in a week for a total of $36. The install took all of 15 minutes! here is my post about it:

I can actually drape my jacket over the opened seat and it stays up now! Amazing product with sublime machining...

Good spot! The struts on my mk3 had failed when I bought it, but I managed to find some aftermarket ones via easyparts.nl which were around £20 a pair (or something) compared to £40 each from Yamaha.

Thanks SkuTorr, I've just ordered some as my struts are getting lazy on my mk4

Perfect timing Skutorr, my Mk3 struts are also barely capable of keeping my seat open, it always needs a helping hand to open when unlocked.

Looks like it is time to spend on the scoot again !

Mine arrived yesterday.

I just installed them and they are fantastic. Seat stays up by it's little self now. Great.

Just received our sets for our Tmax fleet. Just realised that I could have got away with buying only 2 sets - one spring is ample to hold the seat up.
