On the home page visit Browse Store then - engine oils - then 10/40 - then scroll down to shell advance oil - hopefully this assists

Yes - you have bought the semi synthetic oil - if you scroll down further you can source the fully synthetic stuff here

I think any 10-40 specific motorcycle oil would be suitable wouldn't it??

yes any semi-synthetic is easily suitable for a road going scooter or motorbike. Just follow the recommendations for the required oil viscosity in the owner's guide.

Just ordinary 10W50 oil is all you need in a CN250,I just bought 5 litres for £16.Fully synthetic? Why bung that in when semi synthetic will do a modern scooter engine

Tesco seemed to be selling off their 2 litre oil packs the other day £7-8 each if I recall, mineral semi and full synthetic.
