Got my Lazy Butt back out there...

Post by SkuTorr »

Been "so busy" getting the house and property ready for Winter I've been working ON the Tmax rather than RIDING it. DUH! So, out and up into the local mountains where I found a BRILLIANT new road that traverses the mountain at 6,000-7,000 feet, connecting two roads I've ridden before, Finally found the Connecting Road. Wow. 40 miles ALONE on a 6-10 foot wide dream. it closes with the first big snowfall, so I just got it in....

What a lovely place to live. I stayed at Lake Arrowhead once but would like to visit Yosemite one day.

We really feel for the poor people struggling to cope with the wildfires and the brave men and women fighting to contain them. :(

Looks really nice, makes me think it's time for another holiday in the states, we were up around Lake Tahoe a few years ago.....

We once had a snowball fight and swam in the ocean before breakfast. (Brunch).

At 6-7,000 fit, I guess you're prone to snow anywhere! That's pretty high up. They do have real mountains in California as well I believe.
