Hi Thanks, just out of interest anyone know what they are like space wise compared to a silverwing say please.
Nothing on the floors locally so be good to be more in the know upfront.
Thanks Mark.

Yes but the value of the pound back in 2008 was probably worth at least fifty per cent more than it is today

Re: Joymax 300 Thoughts
That's pretty accurate (assuming that it was a guess!)
The Pound during most of 2008 would buy you 60 NT$ (Taiwan New Dollar) whereas today is close to 40NT$. So a pound would buy you 50% more dollars back then.
Even if they priced their bikes in US dollars the answer is similar.

Re: Joymax 300 Thoughts
Thank you for that handy link Bern.
I wonder if there is a knackered old bod calculator online as well ?
The most I ever paid for a bike was £3.5K for a new NTV650 in 1993
So don`t really want to go too far past that even with the Silverwing in the equation.
Best Mark.

if you mean for yourself sat on it. their quite comfy .. good leg room. if you mean under seat , the're ok , mine wouldn't fit crash helmet under, (wrong shape ) . so needed topbox.

Re: Joymax 300 Thoughts
Hi Thanks well I find the silverwing 600 a bit cramped with the seat hump on, just right with it off but not sat quite all the way back.
I found one place that will give me a test ride on a 300 GTS 2011 model but I read the next one 2012 on they improved the suspension a little. Slightly more reach I think ?
One thing I am really keen to get a handle on is bump handling of a Joymax on poor roads compared to a Silverwing.
I personally find the SW a step down from a T max, but feels a little better than a Burgman 400, though only had a quickie on one of those.
Engine wise I think the 29HP would suit me just fine, as I rarely access all the Silverwing has to offer. Well never really.
But do enjoy the odd blast up the odd long slope where the SW certainly pulls a lot harder than my old MK1 T max did.
Its a shame so many places don`t like to offer test rides these days.
Many Thanks again Mark.

Re: Joymax 300 Thoughts
the suspension is fine , as it's much lighter than the silverwing , an handles very well for such a budget scoot.. i used to hustle mine along an it never did anything untoward . if there were more dealers an resale was better i'd have more ... but my local dealer closed down , so nothing close anymore.. well not that i know of .? the only bug for me , an it's only a small one is why can't they do an MPH speedo... and vespa ? you sell in UK so why not do a UK MPH speedo.? it can't be that hard .. they do mph for the states ?

Thanks, well also going to look at a 300 Forza as well. Pre 2018.
Just hoping I can fit a City grip 150/70 13 in the rear of one of those.
Thank you again.
Best Mark.
