What we need is a mass meet and ride out .
Its been a long time since we have got more than 12 on a ride out .
With a bit of luck we should have a good turnout at the Wales meet .

It is my seriously-considered opinion after nearly 20 years on various Forums that the written/typed word is not a suitable vehicle for 'banter', a synonym for 'teasing'.
Unless one can see the face of the person who is the object of 'banter', or at least be able to hear him, banter can very quickly become 'bullying'.

A significant number of members of this Forum know me in person so can judge my remarks and respond to them 'in person'.
The rest don't in the same way I don't know everyone personally.

I am relieved to see the Moderators taking action over the 'Honda' thread. It had become very uncomfortable and unworthy of this excellent club.

I just think it would be better to post " I'm closing the thread "

My mum used to say that if she lit a ciggie then the bus would turn up straightaway.

Not quite sure how that's relevant to the thread, but relevance has hardly ever seemed necessary on this forum.

I think we need to get just enough at the edge one way, to get away with it unpleasantness etc out of the picture.

Post with possitivity, and and politeness, and spread good supportive fun in the hobby if you will.

Basically just a good will sort of a place, with a forum as good as this.

Best Mark.
