Nowadays after many years of Silver Wing ownership my interest in having another Burgman is zilch...
Hmmm......
I owned a SW and found it to be thirsty, temperamental and clunky...
My Burgman is a much better bike. In my opinion.
I suppose you might have if you'd had an early model which had a thirsty reputation. Silver Wings evolved over the years from the thirsty early models with or without ABS and painted glovebox covers, to a more fuel efficient model with O2 sensor, matt black glovebox covers, and other Honda tweaks. I kept mine for almost 8 years and it was neither thirsty, temperamental, or clunky.
Yes you’re correct. It was an older one although newish when I bought it.
However my ‘15 Burger is a great all rounder for my use.
Horses for courses and all that. Stay safe and enjoy the ride whatever you own 8-)

And Charles C was from Lowestoft if I remember correctly.
I never found anything to grin about with my 400K8, it was too bloody heavy.

Hi bud, I don't know if you remember but someone on Burgman Riders UK and it might have been dear old Henry C himself coined up a phrase similar to the Burgman grin in their early years, they were 'Lovers of Fun'.

They aren't that bad! I did have a Burger 650 for a while, and whilst there is a Burgman Grin, its nowhere as big as a Tmax Grin - IMHO at least!!! However there is also the Burgman grimace when you try to haul it out of the garage when its cold!!!
