Are you trading your present burgman? Only disadvantage I can see is under seat storage will you still get your tent in, max length I work on is 500mm for under seat

If went ahead would pay me to sell it private buy with no trade in .I'd still like test ride to see difference with new model against well used one .Camp gear would have to go on pillion seat .I'd be solo anyway so not problem.

Your right I've never test ridden any other scooter I've brought so why start now .Although guy brought the Sym hd 200 off insisted I rode it around his cul de sac before putting it in the van .

It looks good on Suzuki video tho

julian you wouldn't be disappointed .. they are very nice peppy machine.. the only really noticable difference i can find , is underseat space being a tad smaller , and the lumber seat pad thing being smaller .. but not too bad . i love mine .. well my 4th 400 burger ..lol
they have 2013 400 aswell £2500.
sutton motorcycles have a 2010 400 burgman aswell £2795...
Good friends don't let you do stupids thing alone .

Actually Meldrew, the Suzi site states 42 lt; the shape of the under seat area is not as useful as the previous model either. I made full use of the 62 litres on my K8 and was put off the latest incarnation because of the reduced storage capacity & shape and the bleeding price.

My take on this deal is you are getting a dohc engine pumping out close on 31 brake horsepower - decent fuel economy and if you like the maxi scooter riding position whats not to like - the guy on this forum who claims to have various issues with his new 400 Burgman must be an exception if not a most unfortunate buyer 🤔

Maybe its not selling as well due to storage and lastest line up of 300's .Well in Halesowen anyway .
