Honda Helix for Sale

Post by kav »

At Dobles:

https://www.doble.co.uk/bikes/used/filter/year_1996

Not cheap; I did have a ponder myself until reality kicked in, its an old bike with 45k on the clock and needs oil changes every couple of thousand miles. Its not ideal for a hard commute and the big end went on the last one I had. Still probably the best of my commuting days on it; always brought a smile to my face seeing it after leaving work; can't say any other bike has done that for me.

They're like buses these things. Spend ages looking, give up, and a bunch come along at once!
I wake up every morning with a smile upon my face,
My natural exuberance spills out all over the place!

Quite a preposterous price but some dealers try it on.....
Must do some more work on mine (job in hand replacing motor hangar).

Helix Motor hangar job still pending, MOT’d it last week and ok - but I’m not! Knackered after moving three bikes so resting on the bed, its the prob with chest pains they come on so quickly and bust up my days, still, two bikes mot’d one to go.......

May 7th will be date for re-assement as to whether I can be fitted with another coronary stent.....at moment I can’t do a thing without the need for GTN spray - and it hurts muchly!
If this comes about I’ll be able to resume work on my Helix - it did pass its MOT last week (although the short journey nearly killed me).

It does bring back memories! The Jialing panels are now gone since an unfortunate 'incident' on the way to Normandy in 2016, though. As a result of that it's now wearing a set of plain black aftermarket panels, complete with Fusion XX brake light. Neither of mine have seen the road in over a year, though, thanks to the arrival of the DN.

Stick a battery on that bad boy and I'll bet you it'd start!
