Somehow in the next fortnight I’ve got to get 3 bikes mot’d so they are ready for the summer, then on 24 March I have to be at QM - Lynn for a heart scan plus having a 24hr monitor fitted, then on 11 April NNUH to see consultant heart cardiologist (hopefully re fitting another stent)..... the thing is each time I walk the shortest distance the chest pains return (sod them) so getting the bikes in for mot’s could create other probs........
Data, Catherine & I burn a candle for you and Mrs D, and wish you both a speedy recovery and safe return home.
Jim

Just SORN them until you're good and ready. No point putting health in seconds place.

Re: Vespa GTS 300
Ok...I'm back!
Again, thanks so much for the kind words here, in texts and messages/emails etc. Much appreciated. I'm feeling not too bad, but still not completely sure what is causing my issues which flare up from time to time. The consensus so far is that past surgery has impacted my health causing me to feel unwell periodically. I have more invasive stuff lined up by my surgeon guy who is chomping at the bit to start cutting! They love it don't they! Seriously though, things are not too bad and I've been out on the bike this morning. Boy that was good even though it was raining.
Wife is still recovering from her brain surgery but doing very very well. She had a letter from the DVLA yesterday to say she can start to drive again as soon as she feels she wants to. Result!
So inspite of a dodgy start to the year, the year ahead is now looking great! Just got to service the bike next month...something I look forward to doing.
