Bmw 400x
Had a sit on one today, feels like a 250 in size and really light compared to my lardy forza, very nice quality, looks smart but was hoping to see the gt version but apperently they just sold one in black, going to let me know when they get one in to look at but not much difference ergonomics wise maybe a bit more legroom, they have an X in stock in white and one as a demo at BMW boldon near Nissan Sunderland if anyone is interested.

Well, yes, £7k for a 400 is a bit pricey! However, reviews have been quite positive. But I'd think that forking out a little more for the Tmax with more power and better engineering would be worth it. Also Sym's Tmax clone - if it comes to the UK - could be a serious competitor for it, with more power then the BM and bike style chassis, probably for not much more.
Whether the fact that its made in China is of the slightest importance remains to be seen - after all, BMW's quality of design and manufacture even of its classic European built products seems to have taken a dive over the last decade or so!
