2018-2019 Honda Forza Lowering Brackets

Post by bornagainbiker »

I'm on tip toes and using the one foot method. I'm thinking of getting some rear shock lowering brackets, reports are it's about a 1½" drop and I seen them on a 2018 Forza 300 being auctioned on eBay last month from Scarborough.

Anyone on here fitted them yet?

They are available from https://bikerzbits.com/index.php/catalo ... id/161658/

I read a post regarding a similar mod for the XMax 300 which didn't turn out well although, to be fair, I don't know the full story.

Will both stands work properly?

I'm not an engineer and to my eyes that lowering bracket looks as if it would act like a lever. The physics doesn't look right there....... perhaps bluebottle or an engineer will explain the physics for us........

Just got a reply from the seller of the Forza 300 pictures above that had the lowering brackets fitted.

hi
yes thats where they came from the only problem was making sense out of biker bits themselves, very good product though. No i left the forks alone you could also buy some shorter shock for the rear. all stands ok unaffected.
good luck

Bit off topic, but Yamaha do make a lowering kit for the Tmax.

See https://japan.webike.net/products/23218871.html

I've posted this to show the bits and bobs included to make the kit function. As you'll see, it includes a new (shorter) stand as well.
