Re: Nice Majesty
So that works out at an average annual mileage of just under 500!

Strong money for a 15 year old scooter.

Re: Nice Majesty
Not THAT outrageous....older Tmaxs can go for similar money, and of course very few have done so few miles. When it gets to old scoots, I guess condition is rather more important than age.

Re: Nice Majesty
I did like my 2011 Majesty 400. But I found as it aged (it was serviced as per schedule), the transmission was noisy and needed constant attention.
I forget how many times I had to take the side of the transmission cover off to clean the clutch shoes, and clean it all out)
I think the design of the transmission wasn't the best. I suppose the engine/transmission was designed back in 2002.
At around 25000 km I got a full new OEM transmission & clutch, and it was quiet for another 15000 km, till it started with the shuttering, and noises again.
Having a dry clutch on a 400cc scooter must have been pushing the limit with their design (maybe poor air filters design also). I think with all the power, it just got too hot in there, and parts suffered.
I wonder how the Xmax 400 is holding up, as I think it has the same engine/transmission as the Majesty 400 did. Maybe they improved it for the Xmax 400.
I found when I got my Mk4 Tmax in 2017, it was a much better design, having a wet clutch.

Re: Nice Majesty
Maybe even older than that...I had an 2000 or 2001 Aprilia Leonardo 250 - with Yamaha Majesty mechanical bits, and that had almost the same problem as it could be very jerky, until it was serviced.Aaron wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2019 7:12 pm I did like my 2011 Majesty 400. Re: Nice Majesty
My Leonardo wasn't jerky, but did like to shake and vibrate making bolts disappear. Great little bike however.
