Range seems to have got better with use
You normally find that with EVs you get used to using the regen to the max. etc which helps the range.
My Renault Twizy battery is almost 7 years old and it still does as well as when it was new :D

Great looking bike and glad you are enjoying it.
We drive a lexus Hybrid and a Countryman Phev so next step will be a full EV.

Very nice Robbo, keep the reports coming.

Well electric scooter threads have changed a bit in recent times.

Not very long since all the “never happen” “always 5 years away” “journey time would 11 mph” replies
Now members are supplying their own figures for reference.

It’s only a matter of time before electric posts are just “rode out to xxx” and electric isn’t even mentioned.

However, just had a conversation elsewhere about pick-up drivers in USA blocking off charging stations by parking in groups at/around them. They call it being ICEd out. Nobs

First service at 600 miles was £48 ;) now at 700 miles and range is 98 miles in the morning . Next service is 6000 miles and again about £50 but probably tyres . Still quite a novelty for me , easy to use and charge at night . Do I miss the T Max ? a bit , but for now I'll stick with the EVO its really pretty good

So for my next bike I want one like what you've got but for a purchase price of more like £6k or £7k, not £12k!

Won't be long, I suspect. :)

I've often wondered whether these charging points you see in car parks etc are free. I presume that you have to pay but I've no idea how much.

Thanks - very interesting.

I guess that most people will be inclined to use the free charging points wherever possible. Won't that become a German beach towel thing? Arrive early at supermarket and plug in. Jump on bus/mate's car and go to work etc. I know that some supermarkets have parking restrictions but some don't. Even those that do are having difficulties with whether the fines are legal.

Maybe it doesn't become a problem when these charging points are everywhere, and it's probably cheap enough (and safer) for bikes just to charge them at home anyway.

1200 miles now and running sweet . The recent hot weather has seen 110 miles per charge . top speed limited to 87 MPH will see that gone in 52 miles or less . used to it now , hardly use the brakes . the reverse is handy for getting it out of the garage . I have fitted bar end weights as the grips without feel too narrow , much better and more comfortable although there was never any vibration . Its easy to keep clean , though I have put some 3M tape on the motor cover and stand cross bar . will be using it all year round so interesting to see if the range drops when it gets cold . Otherwise loving it .

My Renault Twizy does approx. 10% less in really cold weather.
But it loves the hot weather like you have found with the BM :)
