Wherever possible I replace OEM air filters with a DIY upgrade using RamAir dual density material.
It's supplied preoiled and then washable & reusable once oiled. Big sheet on Fleabay for a fiver!

Yep, if the OEM is foam then simply use it as a template.
I've also modified more substantial paper ones (Burger 650) by cutting away the paper part and replacing with RamAir foam.
The Piaggio X9 is a rather handy oblong shape, so you could get three out of one £5 sheet.
All the benefits of a K&N with none of the cost.

I've ordered 2 got the Talbot express Auto sleeper coming back soon from Mot and tart up be like a race car with a ram air filter lol

what would you recommend for replacing the belt air filter? mine seen better days.....

If its dropping to bits yes otherwise just give it a wash if foam type .

it needs replacing but parts are getting difficult to find for mine now.... what would you recommend?
