I've done a few hundred miles on these now. I am happy with the grip and confidence they give me in low temps (around 2C or 3C) but I think the ride feels a bit, errr, nobbly and the road noise at speed seems very high.

Nick

I just asked the guy I have been going to for the past half dozen years for winter tyres. He has fitted "Anlas Winter Grip 2" http://www.anlas-tyres.co.uk/winter-grip-2-sc500/ - £150 inc fitting and storing my other tyres until I need them again. Never heard of them but they feel ok this morning, giving much more confidence on the wet roads this morning when the temp is about 6C.

With the very low temperatures of recent days, and roads covered in grime/salt and goodness knows what, I've certainly been getting rather less feel & grip from the Michelin PR4s I have on my Tmaxs.
