Thanks - hell, that exhaust has grown! On the mk6 its 6" short of the number plate and in that photo seems to stick out well beyond!

Looks good . I’ve had all 6 versions of the t max . Except the mk 5 which was basically a MK4 with abs and keyless . I sold ,y my 6 to buy an Evo Scoot from BMW . Then recently bought a MK 3 T Max for the winter that has been a money pit , brakes , clutch tyres even 400 miles after a full 12000 mile service . I will be getting the 560 . Even with the shite rear belt drive, it’s the best maxi out there . And breath

To be pedantic, the mk5 had the USD front forks and radial brakes which were carried over onto the mk6. Like you it's the only version I've never owned or ridden! I guess we must call the new 560 version mk7! Obviously its nice, but I can't see myself trading in a mk6 for one, even if the supply of money was endless.

As an avid tmax devotee i am not impressed by them anymore, i hate the shape they are now, mk5/6 looked better, the ak550 is a lovely sounding beast but again its too bulky, many silly angled panels just spoil it for me, the tl500 sym is clean and simple like the original tmaxes, if the dealer network was'nt so shit i would have the TL all day even though its less power but thats irrelevant as my forza is 25bhp and does 85 so another 15/20 more should be all you ever need. We need a new game changer that wipes the floor with current models with a cleaner look that is easy to pull to bits for tinkering and modding.

I've never worried too much about what scoots look like - its how they ride that matters! And as I've said before I can't tell the Tmax, AK50 & TL500 apart anyway! The mk6 is a seriously impressive thing to ride - the feel it gives and the oomph are quite remarkable!
