Stay around and give us your thoughts on the BMW, I took out the G310R from Coopers BMW in Tunbridge Wells, it was a new bike so treated it with respect, so would like your input as an owner.

Yep, it's a two wheel forum, I have scoot & bike and love both for different reasons. The more contributors the better....!

Yes, he's left Modern Vespa too. Shame! But great he's still riding.

I'm reminded of my youth... 1974 ish
I went into a pub with my girlfriend, carrying crash helmets.
We sat down next to a group of lads and the one next to me says.. "What bike you got?"
"A Lambretta!" Says I...
"Oh sorry!" says he...
Then turns his back...

Even funnier when I parked the T Max at Matlock.....
2 guys came out of the chippy and moved their bikes that I was parked between!
All that so as not to be next to a scoot!🛵😂

There again, for some reason my yellow mk3 Tmax seems to be attracting as much interest as road going UFO round my way recently! It was parked up in the town and I saw someone examining it with apparent fascination, a woman came up as I was leaving and said how wonderful it looked and on another occasion I was accosted by another biker enquiring about it (and the handlebar muffs). They've been on sale for 20 years now, but people are rather behind the curve up here!

Interestingly enough, when I go to bike night at 'Bentley' in the summer months (with some of the excellent guys from this site), we get every conceivable bike attending. I even park amongst the Harleys and their riders on occasions, and the riders look like they have just come from the set of the Walking Dead! Yet, they are all very complimentary about the GTS300 Vespa. Everyone talks, doesn't matter to most of them what bike you are on. Everyone gets on. But of course, there are those rather silly people about still I'm sure who won't countenance speaking to a scooter rider. They are of course, poorer for it! But not us, us with the smaller wheels, the low centre of gravity, the flickable comfortable bike with good mpg and good underseat storage, the practical, the good looking scooters! Hail the scooter!! :o
