The jetforce could be a successor if it wasn't discontinued like the 180 runner.
Satelis carries the same engine but it just doesn't look like a small scooter like the runner and the GTS.

Re: Fastest scooter around 200cc?
Someone in my old scooter club had a Runner 125cc, which he tuned. It was faster than the 180cc then, no one could catch it even the 300 Vespas. Whats the latest Runner like, thats a 200 4 stroke?

Don't think there is anything to rival the 125/180SP two stroke, not with all the latest emmisions etc...
Mate had the Italjet Dragster... 125 (180 Conversion) two stroke, same enginge as the runner... all PM tuned, Gear Up, Scorpion Expansion Chamber, etc etc etc... Proper Proper fast... and a little front wheel!
I had a Gilly VXR200 before my XMax...
Nice scoot but not a patch on the two strokes!
The DNA180 two stokes were kinda weird, and i think handled better than the Runners / Dragsters

Ah the Gilera DNA, a local dealers mechanic used to keep all the failed cranks from them in a bucket.... he had one from every DNA they sold. Cant remember what engine size they were, was around 2002. You just never see them about now.

I still see a guy on a blue DNA riding around sometimes. It looks small and not very nice to ride.
I really like the new runner 200, it looks cool (in a chavvy kind of way) and is very fun to ride for short distances and comuting as people assume its a 50cc and then get a suprise when you whizz past . I look like a tool on it though as I'm 6"2 and 18 stone

Re: Fastest scooter around 200cc?
My son has a Piaggio Typhoon 125 2 Stroke race tuned with 172cc head ect.. And it can beat my Tmax 500 with 16 gram Dr Pulley sliders off the lights and stays 3 scooter lengths in front till 60mph then I pass him. Race at 30mph start speed they stay side by side till 60mph. His scooter will do about 85-90mph and tmax 115mph, not tried top speed with Dr Pulley sliders yet, thought they would enable me to beat him off the lights but no, up to 60mph same as original rollers 60-80 mph it's quicker 80mph comes very quickly.
