Will the new Yamaha N Max come to UK

I've got a 2010 PCX that I bought when it was a few months old as an ex demo model. I've got a Givi top box and the Honda taller screen fitted along with Oxford heated grips and a homemade 5volt power supply for the satnav.
I've used it for a couple of camping trips with all the gear (i.e. not minimal camping) plus it's been to Belgium a couple of times. Otherwise it gets used for all my local running around along with umpteen longer trips up to say 150 odd miles.
So far it's been very good - about 22,000 miles now and my last tankful did over 130 mpg. It's light, easy to shift around and service and I find it comfortable for a few hours at a time.
For serious Euro touring you'd probably want a bit more power but I like it.

I accept though that most of the above could be said of numerous 125s though.

Saw a red NMax in Chelmsford the other day. Have to say it did look nice.
Anyone on here?

I haven't seen one on the road yet cookie.

My local mechanic told me it rides very smoothly with nice sporty handling.

I like it it myself and sit on one every visit to my favourite bike dealer - weekly!

Got my red Nmax 125 early Sept so only got 350 miles on it.

Handles really nice and engine pick up is good up to 50mph. My first scoot so difficult for me to compare as I am used to larger bikes.

Around town its great, love the manoeuvrability,the ease of parking and under seat storage.

Would like adjustable brake levers but I can see that the Nmax was built for a target price i.e. the PCX125.

Yamaha did very well to beat the PCX on both features and price.

what i really like when looking at the nmax manual was the ease in which the side cover panels remove, 3 hex bolts and then clip off, allowing full access to the engine area, great for access and fitting alarm etc

Why Variable Valve Timing (VVA) ?
It gives the best of both worlds – good torque at low revs and good power at high revs. This technology works well with small cylinders, but we will be using it on bigger engines as well – a 150 and eventually a 250. It could also be used with multi-cylinder engines like that of the TMAX.
Isn’t ABS Expensive for a 125cc Scooter ?
Not really. We also wanted to be ready for compulsory ABS on 126cc and above bikes, which is coming next year in Europe. The high production volumes of the NMAX will bring economies of scale and make ABS cheaper for our other bikes.
Why no Idle-Stop System, Like the Honda PCX ?
Honda has patented this. Also, we wanted to have a different alternative, which is partly why we have VVA and ABS. We can have good fuel-efficiency without idle-stop.

This is spot-on.
The fuel savings from idle stop on a 125 scooter are minimal.
