Will the new Yamaha N Max come to UK

Post by michaelphillips »

was just wondering with the new laws regarding abs etc,Will the new Yamaha N Max Blue Core come to UK as a 125cc version or a replacement for the x max :?: its designed for the indonesian / american market etc as a 150 ish machine or the markets that need the 150cc , anyways thought it was interesting :D and seems yamaha are putting as much effort into the design of the smaller cc engine market as honda

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Yep!

It'll be here, mid July.

I'm gonna compare it to the Forza 125 and then make my mind up.

For the cost n spec more like the PCX - check out Visordown...
I would imagine the Forza 125 is more on the level with the XMax 125

Yep, it's strange that, what are Yamaha playing at? I sat on the Maj-S and thought it not much of a step up from what I've got now, in terms of weather protection, power delivery etc. It is a little too small and cramped for that feet forward bigger-bike feel.

I have ridden the Forza 125 and liked it for it's practicalities and good looks and it being Honda. Roomy too. I can't help thinking though, that its little motor might be pushed hard to pull around the scoot's increased heft.

You're correct Michael, £2500 vs £4000.

I was wondering that Mr Swipe, the forza is a big scoot and for a 125 I bet the motor is working hard especially if you put a lardy 15 stone rider on it.Id love to have a test ride on one but I daren't because Id buy one :P .
The new N Max does look a good contender for the PCX but after the global success the PCX has had over the last 5 years I think it might be a similar senario to the T80 townmate V c-90, the townmate was arguably the better bike but couldn't scratch the c-90's success and reputation.
