Forza v PCX

Okay

I already have a 2017 PCX which i love apart from a few things.

Being 6'1" it does leave me a bit cramped on long journeys

The tyres are too skinny for my liking especially on fast dual carriageways and in wet conditions, the lack of ABS too doesn't help.

Anything over 50mph is quite a hair raising experience to say the least.

Ideally i'd like a maxi scooter (xmas 300) but they are the thieves weapon of choice in london so i either have to stick to 125cc or maybe get a 250/300cc bike. Insurance will not let me get anything more powerful so not an option.

Has anyone on here gone from a pcx to a forza 125 and how different was it? Can it maintain 60/70 comfortably and is it more stable at those high speeds. The main dual carriageways i use to escape london are 50mph so having some MPH to spare would be much better.

I know the RRP is a bloody rip off but unless the theft problem is resolved i have little choice.

Buy a 300 forza if you want motorway speeds

I reckon a Forza 125 or a Maxi 300/400 would be equal bait for the scrotes.
They look the same :o

Might be worth considering a S-Wing, still a 125 but semi-Maxi styled. Happy at 60 all day.
Nice thing is that if it suited there are plenty s/h and in good nick. My local Honda dealer has a couple of nice black examples in at the moment for about £2000.

Sh300 might be worth considering, or Sh125 if you're sticking with 125cc. I think both the Forza and Sh 125 models have full-fat engines compared to the PCX's semi-skinned power output.

The Sh lose on storage but arguably gain on (the lack of) scrote desirability.

The Forza 125 feels happy and stable cruising at indicated 65 or so; there's more legroom and it feels in a different league to the PCX, really.

Forza 300 is the way to go. I am 6ft2 and ride one daily for 40 miles. have done just under 10k miles. it rides nicely on the motorway and give me over 80 mpg

SH for the city / commute... Big wheels and skinny
Forza for the Dual Carriage ways... Larger Fairing, better wind n weather protection.
125 or 300 either way...

This. And I've owned both a Forza 300 and an SH300.

If I was combining motorway and city I'd take the SH over the Forza.

not sure where you get the insurance being pricey on bigger bikes from

it normally works out much cheaper

my burger cost less then £100 to insure

the pcx and the lml cost more both times I insured them separate

Ive owned the forza and sh 300's, the sh 300 is the better scoot for me, big wheels helps with todays worn out roads. It handles and stops really well, and with a screen is no problem at motorway speeds. The small underseat storage isn't an issue with a top box fitted. A great rugged all rounder IMO.
