Meet at Ryka's Cafe at 9.30 am on Saturday 29 June 2013. Then maybe ride through Surrey lanes to Newlands Corner. It would be really good to have other makes of maxi-scooter there as well.
Ryka's cafe is at postcode RH5 6BY just off the A24 (or you can take the scenic route through Mickleham, see video) - about 15 mins from junction 9 of M25

Meet Motorcycle News "Burgman correspondent" - Steve Farrell!

No move out before about 11 am, leaving time for breakfast, latecomers and a few runs up and down the dual carriageway outside the cafe.

Be great to see you and chance to compare with Burgman. Looks almost identical to my Burgman 400. I stopped off at Ryka's yesterday for a well filled bacon bap and tea.

Me too, thanks to holdfast for a most enjoyable ride.

Apart from the Burgmans, we had a Sym, an old Harley panhead and me on the Bev 350 ST.

Chatting to Steve from MCN, I was shocked to hear the weight of the 650 Burgman he was riding is a vast 277kg. That is heavier than some big touring motorcycles. For comparison my Bev is 177kg, a whole 100kg less.
