The Atlantic Wall is an excellent place to visit but is often overlooked by British tourists. It can be combined with visits to Ostend and Bruges.

The Atlantic Wall Museum (open air. It's an actual bit of the Wall) is only 46 minutes from Ypres.

If you have one of those, they'll be well out of date! Long since replaced by the EHIC.
