Deepdale campsite is quite good and you can get a good breakfast at the cafe attached to the site. There are a couple of good pubs within walking distance. Fakenham has a campsite on the racecourse which I have never been to but I have used the Old Brick Kiln site at Barney just outside Fakenham. It's a nice site with a restaurant on site but no pubs within walking distance. One of my favourites, although basic is Blue Skies at Wells-next to sea. It's only a 10-12 minute walk into the town / quayside and there are several good pubs in the town that offer good menus. Hope you enjoy your rideout tomorrow as the weather looks good! The Bern wrote:Purely for me, I'll be looking to ride over on the Saturday, meet & 'bimble' on the Sunday, ride back on the Monday.
Tomorrow night I'll be in a B&B in 'Lynn, during my 'spare time' I'll check out that + a camp site in Fakenham & a barn/campsite in Deepdale.
I have not specifically asked the question. That said I believe some of the pitches look bigger than others, so who knows they might! The Bern wrote:Blue Skies at Wells-next-the-sea, bugger, didn't realise that was there, is it OK to put a few tents on a single pitch ?
Just phoned Blue skies about availability and price per tent . he is phoning back later .The Bern wrote:Blue Skies at Wells-next-the-sea, bugger, didn't realise that was there, is it OK to put a few tents on a single pitch ?
