Ok Here goes. I have uploaded around 800 Pictures from this trip to my website. I'm not going to post them all here, just a selection. If you want to see them all click on any of the pics below or go to http://www.wheelshots.com

Day 1. Ride to National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. Meeting Frank at the Nosh and Breks cafe in Macclesfield at the bottom of the Cat 'N' Fiddle Road.

Waiting for Col at our usual petrol station in Flixton.

Spotted this in Chelford

Frank was already here.

On the way to join the Motorway at JCT16

Loads of roadworks

On the M6 Toll

We arrived at the Museum and Frank had a rest leaning on a proper bike.

Some Germas in the car park

And us

Col and Frank.

When we got inside the Museum we were surpised how many bikes were in there. I took several Hundred Pictures so I'll not post all of them here. Just click on one of the pictures to go to my Website to look at all of them.

We had a good few hours at the Museum then made our way to the Hotel In Balsall common. Frank and Col ahd a bit of a scare when they went into their room there was only a double bed! Quickly swapped to a twin room though!

We have a good feed and had several beers in the Adjacent pub.

Day 2

We met Al, Steve, Liam and Andy the next morning back at the Museum Car park.

On the way to Stonehenge via the Foss Way etc.

Image

Image

Lot's of Bank Holiday Traffic

Image

Image

Image

On the way, Andy had the first of his technical issues. His rear panel was almost lost when the plastic rivets fell out. Col spotted it and waived him down. We soon had him back on the road with cable ties and duct tape. :D

Image

Image

We had to catch up the others who were waiting a few miles down the road.

Image

When we got there Al was having another rest break.

Image

More great roads. :)

Image

Image

Image

And lot's of filtering (for some of us anyway)

Image

Kemble

Image

The services that Alan had arranged for us to visit had closed down about 50 years ago. So we had to have a Burger King in town. Then back on the road heading over Salisbury Plain.

Look out for Tanks

We arrive at Stonehenge. But we couldn't see it. They have closed the road several miles away from the Stones and you have to pay £20 to get on a Bus to see it. So me, Col, Liam and Steve didn't want to come all this way and not get a Photo. We headed offroad and got a few pictures :-)

Now we had the long slog down the A303 to the next meeting point.

Image

Image

Steve getting fuel again. He Does this every 80 miles or so! The Aprillia Mana must have a 1 gallon tank. :|

Image

Image

And again !

Image

We had another stop and then made our way to Princetown and the Fox Tor Bunkhouse which is right in the middle of the Dartmoor National Park. Had a good feed in the Plume of Feathers and Sampled one or two of their beverages. :-) The massive Dartmoor prison is about 200 yards up the road so we all behaved ourselves ;)

This is the Bunkhouse at the Fox Tor.
