James and I bobbed down to the Adur Transport Fayre today.
We used to go a few years ago but have missed it for about 3 years. My mate Greg used to show his latest restoration projects there, usually a 50s/60s Triumph or BSA of some description. This continued even when Greg was undergoing chemotherapy and surgery for cancer.
Having beaten cancer he sadly died of a heart attack, an irony he'd have found hilarious I'm sure.
Not many bikes there and not much interest in the ones that were there. In fact my W800 had more of a crowd in the car park. The whole day seems to have become less of the transport more of the fayre.
No scooters whatsoever. There always used to be a small collection of Lambys, Vespas and the odd Zundapp, Triumph Tina etc but nowt doing today, which is why there aren't any scooter photos before some t**t complains
There were some great old cars and a few military vehicles there though, among the Morris dancers and the Donkey Derby, which seem to have infiltrated the day since we were last there.
Here are some photos for the 4 and 2 wheel nostalgics amongst you.

Thought it might of been a Manta.
I saw a droop snoot Vauxhall Firenza the other day going the other way down the road. That must be really rare now.
