As I was Marshalling the whole day I barely got time to take any photos.
However, I'm curious as to whether anyone can identify the last scooter photo's donor bike. (I think I've worked out what it is by the forks )

Does this mean you wore a big hat and tin star or simply stating your amplification preference!capitano wrote:http://www.brightona.net/

Re: Brightona 2011
I assumed it was Helix based because I recognised the forks and wheels but I don't really know what a Helix looks like under the plastics so couldn't be certain. I liked it FWIW, especially the low slung box tank.pikey wrote:Im pretty sure its the whole thing with home made exhaust Ive not long brought a clone helix .There was one at German treffen the same bit better finish tho but I like the rat look .Mines dropping to bits so may end up like that LOL great fun tho to ride and work on.Julian
It makes you think doesn't it?Waldorf wrote:Is that what inspired the Ruckus?
Sadly neither (I'm a Peavey endorsee for starters ).poldark wrote:Does this mean you wore a big hat and tin star or simply stating your amplification preference!capitano wrote:http://www.brightona.net/

The big hat and tin star would have been more impressive but less obvious than the hi-vis vest with "Brightona Marshal" stencilled on it!
As Mr Angry will no doubt confirm it's a pretty similar job at any big bike event. Basically a lot of walking and standing around, taking money, telling people that yes they DO have to pay just like everyone else, telling people they can't park in places, directing them in, about and out again without them causing themselves or anyone else any harm and getting the visiting "rock stars" to their various stages without them messing up their hair.
It's pretty similar to herding cats at times.
