Haynes manual for Burgman 400 + 250

Post by Bluebottle »

I don't think anybody has posted this yet, release got delayed from last summer.

The Haynes workshop manual for the 400 and 250 (1998/2011) came out at the beginning of the year.

Haynes page is here, or shop around for prices at online stores (got mine from Amazon)

I recently bought the CD of the service manual for my 2004 Burger for about 6.00 USD on eBay. Dirt cheap and it does the trick for me.

Stolen service manuals are cheaply available online (illegal copies of copyright material) but I'd rather not give money to a thief.

Legit copies may turn up now and again I suppose.

I don't like to buy pirated stuff either, but this didn't smell like that to me.

The official Suzuki reair manual is priced between 84-95 USD from an independent to 89-99 USD from a Suzuki dealer

-6 bucks sounds like a bit of a price drop
-There is no Suzuki part number listed for a CD manual, Suzuki only produce paper ones.
-CDs are never available in proper shops, only on E-flewbynightyourhonour.

I could be wrong, but the evidence doesn't look good.
The moderators might want to remove the link (just as burgmanUSA did when they looked into it)

By the way, to anyody that reads what I wrote above and still thinks its a bargain, my software regularly gets pirated.

The seller gets:
6 whole dollars for something that took time, trouble and computer savvy
The knowledge that you do on-line transactions

You get:
a CD that he knows you are going to put into your computer.

What could possibly go wrong ? (usually several months later)
Nothing shows on anti-virus but the pirate versions are very slightly larger files, free extras :?:
