New Vespa LX 3V

Post by barryG »

Sounds interesting, up to 155mpg..... servicing every 6000 miles but over 3k.
However, it wont depreciate as much as the plastic 125s and youll save a bomb in servicing over a Honda PCX etc.... at last someones producing a 125 scooter that doesnt need servicing every time you ride it.

Certainly seems to have a lot going for it if you like that kind of thing.

Well, at least Piaggio are making scoots with sensible servicing intervals now. The X10, Bev 350 and now this 3V motor.... the other manufacturers are sure to follow in future, theyd be stupid not to. So, its good news for all I think.

Honda have also woken up to this with decent service intervals and reduced mainenance requirements on some of their newer models.
The valve clearance check interval on a CBR250R is so infrequent that many of them will end up in the scrappy without ever having it looked at.
