A bit of jet-assist now and then doesn't hurt.

I tried riding feet forward but I found my arms aren't long enough to get a decent grip of the bars, even with the backrest in the forward position. I am only 5 foot 7 so my arms are just a little too short. I had an idea though. I still have the passenger backrest from when it was removed to make way for a carrier. With the passenger backrest attached to the rider's backrest it is just perfect. The only problem is attaching the passenger backrest securely enough to stop it falling off. Any suggestions?
