I use these for many dark areas, would also be good for under the seat. I'm sure the £1 shops have these also.

I put one of the LED bulbs below in my Nexus and left the seat up and of course the light on all night and most of the next morning. It started with no problems though.

Think thats a T10 LED. In case you didn't know LED bulbs are very directional, so unless the bulb is pointing at the glass you wont see it.
