The interview in MCN made vague references to BMW having a 'new partner'. Of course, you think of Kymco, but you wouldn't describe that partnership as particularly new. Maybe its someone from mainland China rather than Taiwan!

Not sure about the 400cc bit there. The BMW i3 electric car can have a 650cc twin motorbike engine as optional range extender.
