Does anybody know how many reuses I'm likely to get from the silencer to downpipe seal and the o ring in the rear wheel hub on a B 400?

I'm putting a new rear tyre on and I suspect these are meant to be single use items

My dealer (very good) always replaces the exhaust system seal but not the hub seal.

Hi Bluebottle,

In fact both can be re-used without a problem. The exhaust gasket will go two or three times easily. But a new one is only about £10 from Suzuki. I keep a spare just in case but haven't needed it in-spite of having to change the rear tyre. The only proviso is to make sure you torque the exhaust clamp bolt to the correct torque value and it will work fine without renewing it.

Bluebottle, being a wind eggspurt that you are, I'm sure I don't have to remind you NOT to use 'second hand wind' in your new tyre! That could be a disaster. It could fail early, you just don't know where it's been! Use only 'best quality wind' from the best sources, free range is better. Every little helps!

Because the front almost always arrives first, I was going to put some of the wind from the front into the rear to make the bike faster.

Got a scrumptious new hoop to put on but I'm a bit confused by Bridgestones coding. The manual says use b02-g, receipt says h02-a, tyre says "Hoop B02" at the top ......and h02 at the bottom, maybe I've got it upside down?
You'd think they would use codes that aren't easily confused (I think the silverwing used h02)

I think I'll draw a line on the bottom of the h to make it look like a b
