Win a place on the Yamaha MT World Launch...

Post by anonstarter »

Still smarting from the disappointment of Dougl's Kawasaki Research [PR] Meeting (See: http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/vie ... =5&t=15883" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) I came across this:

Visor Down are running a competition...

"Win a place on the Yamaha MT-125 world launch - Become a bike journo for a weekend and ride the new MT-125 and YZF-R125 in Barcelona!

EVER wondered what it’s like to go on an international press launch of a new bike? No? Well start wondering. Then stop, and enter our competition to find out.

Visordown has partnered with Yamaha UK to offer one reader the chance to attend the launch of the new MT-125 and YZF-R125 in Barcelona.

The winner will get an all-expenses-paid trip including accommodation in a top four-star hotel and test rides on both bikes. You’ll need to get yourself to and from the airport in the UK, and that’s all.

You’ll effectively become a bike journalist for the weekend – including writing a review of the two models to be published on Visordown along with our own report.

You’ll get photographed and filmed riding the bikes, and pampered with posh dinners, just like all the other spoilt journos...

As well as reaching Visordown’s hundreds of thousands of readers and followers, we want a winner willing to publicise their reviews to their own social media network, and with enough friends and followers to make that count.

You also need to be aged 18-24 (ageists!) and must hold either a full A1 or A2 motorcycle licence. Not a full A licence – just an A1 or A2 licence, for machines either up to 125cc and 15hp (A1) or 35kW (A2)...."

See: http://www.visordown.com/competitions/w ... h/193.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative.

Drag your butt all the way to Spain to ride two utterly impractical children's playthings?
Feck that.

Ah wait a minute, you only get to go if you're a yoof with a pretend licence.
