Hello everyone
Hello everyone
I have started doing a bit of research and this site has been the most useful for experiences, insight and questions that we all need answers to! (thank you) I have been riding a Vespa GTV 125 for 6 years and feel I need to upgrade. I have got as far as Yamaha Xmax but am unsure of whether to go 250 or 400. Its the same old first world problems. Most of my riding is commuting 15 miles a day, in London, with some infrequent trips further a field. I think the 250 will be perfectly good but have a niggle that I should just go for POWER and get the 400. I'm concerned that the 400 might be a step too far with regard to stop/start, generally slow moving traffic. (Less manoeuvreable etc) The Vespa has been a good start but I'd like a bit more fun now! Any insight, experience welcome. Thanks

Re: Hello everyone
Hi,
Had the '09 XMax 250 for 5 years - 80mpg... had the XMax 400 for just over a year - 65mpg - and a Fat Arse (Air Filters Both Sides and a Large Zorst)
The Fat Arse does make a fair bit of difference in traffic - do a 18 miles each way commute from just outside Bromley to Central London...
Hows about a Vespa 300?
Enjoy!
